Lily Nay returns to Kootenay Lake for fundraising swim

Nay is raising money to support activities for Kaslo-area children living with Down Syndrome

A 12-year-old girl is set to swim across Kootenay Lake in support of outdoor and recreational activities for Kaslo-area children living with Down syndrome.

Lily Nay, who the Nelson Star profiled in 2020, will cross the lake on Monday, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m. at the Schroeder Creek Resort. Spectators are encouraged to cheer her on!

Donations can be made to Kootenay Savings Credit Union’s Kaslo branch (account No. 1710896) or e-transferred to lilyofthelakekaslo@gmail.com.
