Trent Nash (left) and John Bowles (right) will join the rest of their Nelson Lions Club members in hosting the Lions District 19E spring conference at the Prestige Lakeside Resort this weekend. The conference will pull together more than 135 Lions from the 55 different clubs in a region that extends from Golden to northern Idaho and Washington state. Bowles — a 35-year member of the international service club — is the district governor this year, presiding over the 1,600-plus Lions in District 19E. A full weekend of fun and friends is planned.
