Last month the Royal Canadian Legion No.51 Branch in Nelson made a donation to the Nelson Air Cadets #561 Osprey Squadron.
The cheque was for the amount of $1,500 which is to be used for support of cadet activities for the year.
The local legion has long been supporting cadet activities (both sea and air) for the youth of Nelson.
