Nelson children’s book author Cyndi Sand-Eveland’s 2012 novel A Tinfoil Sky has been chosen as an Honour Book of the Year by the Canadian Library Association. The novel, for children aged 10 to 13, is also nominated for Ontario’s Silver Birch Award, Saskatchewan’s Diamond Willow Award, and the Ruth and Sylvia Schwartz Canadian Children’s Book Award.
