Once again, Nelson’s first responders are joining forces with Lua Gerun from Safeway, the Adventure Hotel, White Leblanc Wealth Planners, and the Salvation Army to help those less fortunate this holiday season.
There’s three ways you can help make the holidays brighter for those in need.
Donate a gift: Drop off an unwrapped new gift or book at the Nelson Police Department, Nelson Fire Department or Nelson BC Ambulance Station.
Feed a family: Visit the Nelson Safeway and sponsor a food basket to feed a family in need.
Make a monetary donation: Bring cash, a new book or new unwrapped gift to the Adventure Hotel.
Do any of these and you’ll receive a coupon for a free breakfast Nov. 27 at the Adventure Hotel.
You can also join us! First responders will be on hand at the Adventure Hotel parking lot on Nov. 27 at 10 a.m. for the gift and food hand off with Santa Claus and helpers.
