L.V. Rogers Secondary’s Grade 12 Physics class took part in a tour of the Brilliant Expansion Project near Castlegar in mid-June to cap off their unit on electromagnetic induction.
Led by Bill Clark, senior projects engineer and Andre Noel, health and safety manager for Columbia Power, students toured the service bay, viewed the intake area and walked across the Brilliant Dam.
The Brilliant Expansion facility is co-owned by Columbia Power and Columbia Basin Trust and was commissioned in 2007.
