Nelson mural festival puts out call for artists, walls

Make your application by Jan. 21, 2022

The Nelson International Mural Festival is entering its fifth year and we are once again inviting artists and building owners to apply to participate in the festival.

The festival has become a community fixture through the annual creation of large-scale public artworks painted by professional artists. Year-round, these artworks enliven urban spaces and promote cultural vibrancy in the community. Artists paint their murals throughout the summer months, and then the festival culminates in a weekend of live performance and educational opportunities open to all.

Artist and building owner applications are currently available on our website and close on Jan. 21, 2022.

For more information on the event and application forms, check out www.nelsonmuralfest.ca.
