The annual Polar Bear Swim has been postponed due to the very cold temperatures forecast for the weekend.
The event’s sponsors, Kootenay Co-op Radio and Friends of Kootenay Lake, made the announcement today in a news release.
“Both organizations really want to be able to bring together the community for this family-friendly and fun event, and we will be announcing further information by the end of the next week,” they said.
