Nelson's L.V. Rogers student Zorn Rose recently won a second place prize in the Polar Expressions National Student Short-Story Contest.

Rose is a Grade 10 student and received a $70 cheque, certificate and his award-winning piece Consequences was published in this year’s national anthology called Order of Beings which features the works of the top 25 per cent of all entrants.
