For the 50th straight year, the Nelson Knights of Columbus are sponsoring the Citizen of the Year award.
Nomination papers are located at Nelson City Hall administration, Baker Street Menswear, and at the Chamber of Commerce.
A cover letter is enclosed with the nomination papers.
The deadline for nominations is at 4 p.m. on February 28.
All nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee composed of five judges.
The judging panel are citizens from Nelson chosen by the chairman of the committee.
