Nelson’s mural festival: scenes from opening night

Crowds wandered the streets and alleys finding delightful surprises in unlikely places

Nelson’s first annual International Mural Festival opened last evening with groups of people wandering the streets finding new murals, sometimes on unlikely surfaces. Today there are events all day at the Hall Street Plaza starting at 11:00, with mural maps available.
