Do you know someone who has made Nelson a better place?

The Nelson Star's annual Citizen of the Year award celebrates people who contribute to our city with their volunteer work, kindness and thoughtfulness.

Click here to nominate someone for consideration. Tell us in your own words why you are putting their name forward, how long they've lived here, what groups or organizations they work with and their contact info. (You can also keep their nomination a surprise if you'd like.)

The deadline for nominations is March 2.
