Crowds of kids came to ollie, grind and party as the Nelson and District Youth Centre held its grand re-opening Saturday.
The centre completed extensive renovations in August that added a climbing wall and what staff say is the largest indoor skatepark in B.C.
Virtual reality demos, activities in the Nelson Tech Club, art projects and a trick contest kept kids and parents busy during the event.
