About 150 Nelsonites joined people from 900 cities and towns in 95 countries on Saturday for Rise for Climate, an international action “to let national leaders know what we need to transition to renewable energy so we will have a healthier future for everybody,” according to local organizer Jan Inglis. The marchers gathered at Railtown station and walked to Cottonwood Market accompanied by a number of giant puppets.
