Rosemont Elementary School students hopped for happiness last week during their jump rope fundraiser.

The children raised more than $2000 for their school garden.

School staff started developing the gardens and growing fruit trees on the massive school grounds about five years ago.

This year, community member Ken Radcliffe has taken the project to the next level. He is volunteering his time, teaching the kids, maintaining the gardens and has plans to be on site throughout the summer to offer people his expertise.
