After two years of determined fundraising, the Salmo and District Health Care Auxiliary has done what it set out to do: raise $42,000 for a portable diagnostic ultrasound unit for the Salmo Wellness Centre.
It’s thanks to funds from their thrift shop in the basement of the Salmo Legion, along with bazaars, bake, plant and craft sales, plus many individuals, organizations, and businesses.
