Santa visits Baker Street with goodies this weekend

Santa handed out candy canes on Nelson's Baker Street over weekend

Santa returned to Baker Street this weekend to spread some Christmas cheer. With the help of his reindeer, he handed out candy canes donated by the Kootenay Co-op. Touting their healthiness, Santa was pleased to report his candy was organic and vegan, gluten free and flavoured with natural peppermint. Sweetened with cane juice, brown rice sugar and fruit juice, the candy canes were great for a Santa who says he watches what he eats every chance he gets.
