Heavy snow in the city overnight Tuesday turned to rain by the morning, but while it was falling it was a beautiful scene. Snow continues at the higher elevations, but in the valley bottoms it’s the rain that will be sticking around for a while and washing all that snow away. Above freezing daytime highs are expected until at least Monday. The precipitation will continue throughout the week, but what exact form it will take will depend on where you find yourself.
