Stepping Stones in need of clothing donations

The Nelson shelter is asking for help

Stepping Stones shelter needs supplies for people forced to live outside.

The shelter, located at 816 Vernon St., is asking for blankets, tents, snow pants for both women and men, and any medium clothing for men, specifically pants.

Donations can be made at Stepping Stones, which has operated in Nelson since December 2004. For more information, contact Stepping Stones by phoning 250-352-9876 or by emailing steppingstones@nelsoncares.ca.
