The TNT Young Company and SelfDesign High are teaming up to present a two week drama workshop starting August 1.

“We’re trying out the idea of starting from scratch,” explains director Richard Rowberry. “A bare room, a few short scripts, some instructors, and some basic equipment. Throw in the young actors and we’ll see how far we get come performance time on the Friday, Saturday, August 12 and 13. I suspect we’ll have something pretty good to show to family, friends, and total strangers.”

With over 12 years experience working with young actors, Rowberry has created dozens of successful productions and contributed to the success of many local performing artists who have gone on to professional careers. The workshop is open to ages eight to 18.
