Red Mountain Resort, Tourism Rossland, Nelson Kootenay Lake Tourism and Whitewater have received a best community tourism initiative award.

Red Mountain Resort, Tourism Rossland, Nelson Kootenay Lake Tourism and Whitewater have been named the winners of the best community tourism initiative at the Kootenay Rockies Tourism Industry Conference held in Rossland today (Wednesday, October 30).

They won the award because of their cooperation in winning Powder Magazine’s Ski Town Throw Down.
