The Grade 9 students of Nelson Waldorf School will be participating in an inter-cultural exchange with Ehattesaht First Nation students from Zeballos Elementary-Secondary School on Vancouver Island in the new year.

Waldorf students are excited to host the visitors in their homes, at the Nelson Waldorf School and in the greater community for one week at the end of February. In May 2023, the Zeballos students will be hosting Waldorf students.

In order to help share our amazing town and area, it is necessary to raise money for activities, equipment rentals, meals and more. The Waldorf group have received funding from Experiences Canada to pay for transportation, but this does not cover any of the activities they would like to share with the visitors while in Nelson.

The Waldorf students are holding a fund-raising raffle, and are accepting donations. For more information visit their website at http://zeballosnelsonexchange.weebly.com/.
