Top Canadian folk-roots duo The Eisenhauers will be returning to the West Kootenays for a live performance at Taghum Hall on Saturday, June 8.

The former Kaslo residents, now based in Kimberley, just finished recording their second album with Steve Dawson (The Sojourners, Old Man Ludecke).

Their first release, The Road We Once Knew, won critical acclaim for its “distinctly Canadian approach to song craft” and superb vocal harmonies. The impeccable musicianship of Jeremy Eisenhauer on traditional clawhammer banjo and acoustic guitar provides a perfect accompaniment for Sheree Plett Eisenhauer’s stellar song writing.

Tickets are $20 at Eddy Music, Eventbrite, or at the door if any are left. Showtime is 7:30 p.m.
