Taryn Scarff plays the vibraphone during a Festival Nelson performance by the L.V. Rogers senior jazz band. The group got plenty of praise from adjudicators during the two-day noncompetitive festival, which brought about 800 student musicians from B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan to town last weekend.
