Jamphibian of Modern Bob has assembled an all-star cast for upcoming performances in the Kootenays. Performing mostly originals, Modern Bob will be featured at The Royal on Thursday, Jan. 19 and Mama Sita’s on Saturday, Jan. 21.
Inspired by a blend of Dylan and Marley, Modern Bob generates nostalgic tones that feature a variety of musical styles, including rock, reggae, folk, funk, and jazz.
“It’s humbling and wonderful to have my music shaped by these wonderful people,” says Jam Chato, founder of Modern Bob.
The band will include Gemma Luna on vocals and flute, Michael St. John on drums, Joseph Vieira on bass and guitars, Sacha Pétuli on saxophone and bass, and Jamphibian on vocals, guitars and bass.
