The Nelson Overture Concert Society is delighted to present Nelson-based violinist Natasha Hall and pianist Yoomi Kim in an exciting programme at the Capitol Theatre on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
The program features the dazzling and virtuosic “Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso” by Camille Saint-Saëns, Frank’s masterful Sonata in A, and Beethoven’s Romance in F major.
Hall has performed as soloist, chamber and orchestral musician in North America, Europe and Asia. Pianist, conductor, and composer Kim received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance at the University of Cincinnati and degrees in Piano Performance from the Peabody Conservatory and the University of Montreal. Hall and Kim perform together regularly as a duo.
As an optional add-on as part of the Capitol Theatre’s Enhanced Experiences, audience members can choose to complete their sensory experience with a box of chocolates curated by Nelson Chocofellar’s Aurélien Sudan.
