Nelson performers lend their talent to Pat Henman fundraiser

The event was video recorded for Pat Henman and Maia Vezina to watch in the hospital.

Nelson’s arts community came together at the Capitol Theatre on Wednesday night to raise money for Pat Henman, her daughter Maia Vezina, and their family members caring for them Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary. The pair are recovering from a head-on collision in early June. Henman’s husband attended the event and reported that both his wife and daughter are on the road to recovery, and in good spirits.

The event was video recorded for Henman and Vezina to watch in the hospital. Attendees could also send pictures and video messages to the pair. The lineup of entertainment included Allison Girvan, Bessy Wapp, Lucas Myers, Shenango, Hiro Ido, Michael Graham, Jenny Craig and many more.
