Nelson’s winter enthusiasts can gather this weekend for some thrilling world class skiing with Matchstick Productions’ new ski movie, which features Nelson’s Sam Kuch.
Anywhere From Here is being screened at the Capitol Theatre on Saturday. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
The world of skiing opportunities are showcased through the eyes of a 12-year-old B.C. ski phenomenon, and “through his voice, the audience hears the skiing aspirations of … a kid who just wants to play and doesn’t have to ponder ‘real life’ quite yet,” explains MSP news release.
The movie is hosted by Whitewater Ski Team. Tickets are on sale now at the Capitol Theatre for $20. An after party will be held at The Bear and Sturgeon with more ski action movies as well as local DJ tunes.
