The Secret Garden comes to Covenant

Nelson production tonight and tomorrow will be paired with the Reluctant Dragon.

Max Thomson and Adonia Martineau star in The Secret Garden at the Covenant Church this week.

How do you find The Secret Garden?

In the Homelinks production playing this week at the Covenant Church in Nelson, Adonia Martineau’s Mary is led to the hidden door by an adorable little sparrow played by Gwendolyn Pusey. And so begins an adventure that many adults will remember, as it’s based on the classic book The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson.

The show will be performed along The Reluctant Dragon, which is also cast with students between the ages of 5 and 16. “In uniquely different ways these two stories both speak to the power of coming together with others and finding one’s true voice,” the press release reads.

The shows will be held on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 4 p.m.
