Unity Festival brings Slocan to life

Over 400 people attended the fourth annual Unity Festival at the Slocan Beach this weekend.



The fourth annual Unity Festival was held at Slocan Beach from Friday to Sunday. Festival organizers estimate that nearly 400 people attended the event, which boasted over 30 acts and 20 vendors. Music lovers of all ages danced on the sand and grass. The stunning beauty of Slocan Lake starkly contrasted the deserted Springer Creek Forest Products sawmill.
