A train derailed in Nelson on Tuesday morning, but police say there were no injuries and traffic is once again moving.
The derailment occurred below the intersection of Ward and Front Streets, but access to Lakeside Drive via Hall Street has since been cleared to traffic.
The Nelson Star has asked Canadian Pacific Kansas City, which operates trains in Nelson, why the derailment occurred.
