The Christmas season will be upon us before you know it, and so is the need for seasonal baked goods. It’s never too early to plan for these goodies. Let the Nelson Italian-Canadian Society help you out by taking away some of the pressure and time of having to do the baking.
Pizzelle cookies are a Christmas favourite for Italians. The traditional waffle cookies are hand crafted by Nelson Italian-Canadian Society volunteers. Nothing beats home-baked Christmas goodies!
The Pizzelle cookies are available in either anise or chocolate flavour. Three options are available to purchase: 12 anise flavoured, 12 chocolate flavoured or a combo package of six anise and six chocolate. The cookies are wrapped in festive cellophane packaging and make great gifts as well. Each package sells for $12 a dozen.
Pre-orders for Pizzelle cookies are limited. The sale runs from Nov. 4 to 15. Don’t be disappointed, order your Pizzelle cookies soon before they sell out!
