It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Toni Elizabeth Chubak (62). She passed away peacefully on February 23, 2023, in Nelson surrounded by her family. Within the last year of her life, Toni lived graciously and courageously in her journey with lung cancer. She had a special light in her soul and her love touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by her three sons: Louis (Amber), Marty (Mercedes), and Nick, as well as her grandchildren: Leonardo, Jasper, and Aurora Claire. Her celebration of life will be held on June 17, 2023, at St. Joseph's school gym at 2:00 p.m.
