Get your tickets early for Corazón’s performance at the Nelson Museum, Archives and Gallery on March 3.
Corazón, Nelson’s celebrated youth choir (40 singers ages 15 to 25), will encircle the interior of Gallery A and perform a set of five pieces. Audience members will stand or wander in the centre of the room as observers of this unique choral installation.
Corazón’s director, Malaika Horswill, has chosen vibrant, dynamic music to highlight the dramatic acoustics of the gallery.
Corazón will perform the same 25-minute show five times, for a new audience each time.
The five March 3 performances will run at 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. Admission is $12, and advance tickets are only available in person at the museum, not online or by phone. Payment can be made with cash or debit card only.
Tickets go on sale Feb. 1. There will be a maximum of 40 tickets sold per show, and a maximum of four tickets per person.
Corazón has been performing these museum shows annually since 2013, and they have gained a solid reputation as a not-to-be-missed Nelson musical experience.
Tickets always sell out quickly, so be sure you get yours before they’re gone!
