A suspect has been arrested after he attempted to steal a car by threatening the driver at knife point, according to a news release from the Nelson Police Department.
The incident happened at 3:58 a.m. on Sept. 4 in Nelson. The victim, who called 911, was unharmed.
According to police, the suspect fled when he realized that he would not get away with the vehicle. He was apprehended a few blocks away and was arrested for robbery, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
