A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a head-on collision with an SUV on Highway 3A north of Nelson on June 12.
An RCMP news release stated that the accident happened at 6:55 a.m. near Nasookin Road.
A later news release on June 14 stated that the collision resulted from a 22-year-old motorcyclist travelling south at a high speed, passing a Dodge truck inside a slight curve in the road, then colliding with an oncoming northbound Toyota 4-Runner.
The drivers of both vehicles suffered minor injuries.
