The execution of a search warrant in the 2000 block of Tarrys Road in Tarrys resulted in the discovery of illegal weapons and illicit drugs.
Castlegar RCMP searched the property on Nov. 10.
According to a police statement, the search warrant was obtained to further an investigation into the illegal possession of firearms.
Upon entering the property, police took into custody the 60-year-old female property owner and two other individuals who were residing on the property, a 32-year-old female and 28-year-old male.
The search located a loaded handgun, a loaded shotgun, and a conducted energy weapon.
Police also located a quantity of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, currency and other items consistent with the drug trafficking.
The two females were released at scene, but the male was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Castlegar RCMP are continuing their investigation and will be forwarding the matter to Crown Counsel for a full charge assessment in regard to the individuals involved.
