Wildfire information meeting for residents of Slocan and Area H, Aug. 4

A public meeting will be held on Sunday, Aug. 4, for residents of Electoral Area H and the Village of Slocan affected by the Slocan Lake Complex of wildfires.

In attendance will be representatives from the B.C. Wildfire Service and the RDCK Emergency Operations Centre. There will be an opportunity for residents to ask questions.

The session will take place at 6:00 p.m. at Winlaw Elementary School, 5604 Winlaw Bridge Road. 

The meeting is strictly for residents of Area H and the Village of Slocan impacted by the Slocan Lake Complex wildfires.

For those residents unable to attend in person there will be an option to view the meeting online or by phone.
