L.V. Rogers’ senior boys soccer team finished seventh at the BC School Sports’ AA provincials in Burnaby, which ran Nov. 18-20.
In round-robin play, the Grizzlies lost 5-0 to Langley Christian, beat SMUS 1-0 and defeated Pacific Academy 1-0.
But in the semifinal, LVR fell 4-1 to St. Thomas Aquinas and had to settle for seventh place after tying Kalamalka 1-1 then beating them in a shootout 5-4.
Djvan Mayer and Clark Sully led LVR in goals while senior Lazlo Lorenzo made the provincial super-16 team.
