There are still three all-candidates forums planned for the Electoral Area E leading up to the Oct. 15 election, following an initial debate in Balfour on Oct. 2.
On Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Taghum Hall, the Blewett Conservation Society will sponsor a candidate debate.
The Procter Community Society and the Harrop and District Community Centre Society will host a debate at the Procter Hall on Oct. 11 at 6:30.
And on Oct. 12 at 6:30, an all-candidate debate will be held at St. Francis-in-the-Woods church sponsored by the Queens Bay Residents Association.
The candidates running in Area E are Reggie Goldsbury, Cheryl Graham, Dan Rye, and Landon Veregin. They are vying to replace long-time RDCK board member Ramona Faust, who is not running.
Area E encompasses Balfour, Queens Bay, Longbeach, Harrop-Procter, Sunshine Bay, Bealby, Taghum Beach, Blewett, and Cottonwood Lake.
The successful candidate will represent the area on the RDCK board of directors.
