In tiny St. John's Lutheran Church on Silica Street, the makings of the Nelson production of Cabaret are taking shape.

On Sunday afternoon the cast was hard at work running through scenes, songs and dance routines in preparation for the May 30-June 1 run of the popular musical.

The cast includes local stage veterans and newcomers. It's directed by Pat Henman with musical direction by Rick Lingard.

Tickets for the five-show run are available at the Capitol Theatre box office or online at capitoltheatre.bc.ca.
