A COVID-19 outbreak reported at Nelson’s Kootenay Lake Hospital is over.
Interior Health made the announcement Monday in a news release, stating that there were 18 cases and no deaths connected to the outbreak that began Jan. 1.
The hospital’s third floor had been placed under outbreak precautions and a visitors ban, but those have been lifted.
