A Nelson man has been found dead after his car drove off Highway 3A southbound near Balfour.
RCMP say the 30 year old was first reported missing several hours before his car was found Monday. The name of the driver has not yet been released.
The cause of the accident is still being determined, although RCMP say road conditions did not appear to be a factor.
