West Kootenay Traffic Services says this crash on Highway 3A at Bonnington late Sunday morning looked worse than it actually was.
The driver and lone occupant, a 23-year-old Nelson man, caught in some gravel, over-corrected, and rolled.
“He only suffered minor injuries compared to what happened [to the vehicle],” says Cpl. John Ferguson.
The man was taken to hospital with cuts on his head. Driver inattention is blamed. The crash held up traffic for a while.
