One driver is dead after a collision on Highway 3A near Nelson on Tuesday morning.
A car and a pickup truck crashed, sending the car's driver to hospital where he did not survive his injuries, according to a statement by West Kootenay Traffic Services.
The truck's occupants left the scene with minor injuries.
The highway was closed four hours as the scene was investigated. The name of the deceased driver has not yet been released.
