Hans Cunningham has been re-elected as Area G’s director, ensuring he will continue on in the position at the Regional District of Central Kootenay for four decades.
Voters yet again turned to Cunningham during the B.C. General Local Elections on Saturday. He won with 225 votes, beating out challengers Anna Bundshuh (191) and Farrell Segall (13).
Cunningham was first elected Area G director in 1986, and has run undefeated ever since. His latest victory means he’ll represent the communities south of Nelson into a fourth decade.
