Canada Day in Nelson got underway Monday morning with the annual Lion's Club breakfast on Baker Street.
The line-up was long and the smiles were big as folks chowed down on pancakes and sausages.
Lakeside Park festivities are now underway along the shore of Kootenay Lake. Music and activities go all day with at 10 p.m.
