RCMP are treating the deaths of a Kaslo couple in their 80s as a joint suicide.
Police are not providing any further details, but Barb McLintock of the BC Coroners Service says the couple was found dead in their home on May 22.
The cause is known, but is not being revealed right now, she said.
While the investigation is still preliminary, it appears a friend of the couple went to check on their welfare and discovered them dead.
“We’re still looking at the sequence of events,” McLintock said.
