Nelson police say around 1 a.m. Sunday, they responded to a call of kids drinking in the alley behind the Hume Hotel. The pair were arrested for breaching their conditions.

One 16-year-old was released to a parent on a promise to appear in court, while the other was held in custody pending a court appearance today.

They are among six boys between 12 and 16 accused of stealing jewels, cash, and electronics from a home in April.
