Lillian Mary Watkinson

WATKINSON Lillian Mary of Trail passed away on November 20, 2011 at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. She was born on November 17, 1922 in Rossland, BC.

Lillian served for two years in the Royal Canadian Air Force in WWII and worked as a transport driver. She was a lifetime member and supporter of the Royal Canadian Legion in Rossland. Lillian was an avid Nordic and downhill skier, loved to spend time gardening and enjoyed being a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons Donald (Susan) of Kamloops, and Brent (Rose) of Nelson; her daughter Heather of Rossland; grandchildren Clifton, Sean (Talitha), Sheldon, Colin and Scott; as well as her great-grandchildren Caleb, Hailey, Lillian, Grace, Sean Hunter. She was predeceased by her husband Ted Watkinson and her parents Tucker and Edna Stephens.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 2 pm at the Rossland Royal Canadian Legion. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
